THE ANGELIC KINGDOM

The idea of angels is well-known among almost all the religions and folklore of planet earth. I have read many books about angels, and this article is a summary of what I have learned.

WHO ARE THE ANGELS?

Angels are very old, very large beings who help the human beings of the earth to be more peaceful, happier, and to live together with one another.

Angels live in dimensions of reality that we know little about. They are not restricted by a body, as we are, so they can move about freely, float around if they wish, and check on us at any time. Angels can take on many shapes, sizes or forms in order to influence and help a human being.

Angels are of different types and levels, but they all share the above qualities and characteristics.

THE HISTORY OF ANGELS

Angels are the subject of many books over the ages. They are mentioned over and over in the Hebrew and Christian bibles, and in many other Oriental and Western writings. Angels seem to have been appearing to mankind for as long as people have been on earth.

WHAT DO ANGELS DO?

I believe that angels mainly guide and comfort mankind on a daily and even moment-to-moment basis. Some may be assigned to a specific person. This is sometimes called a guardian angel. Some may be assigned to an area, or even to the whole planet. Others may work just with children for a time, or with the sick and dying. Others may be assigned to work in search and rescue missions, for a while. Angels, it seems, are learning and growing just as we are, only they are more advanced and more powerful beings than we are.

It is clear from what I have read that angels spend their time assisting mankind with every aspect of our lives. This means they protect us, rescue us on occasion, help teach us lessons we need to learn, and most of all, they prod us to move forward with our own mental development on this planet.

HOW TO CONTACT ANGELS

Many methods for contacting the angelic kingdom have been recommended in books and other literature. I am told the best way is to just be open to them. One need not even believe in angels.

It is, however, necessary to allow enough time in your days to rest, be quiet and become receptive to guidance and comforting. This can help you to hear, sense or otherwise feel the presence of non-physical beings around you who are attempting to communicate with you and offer you guidance and comfort.

ARE ANGELS RELATED TO GOD?

Because angels are mentioned many times in the Hebrew bible, and in other holy texts, many people believe that angels are somehow related to God, or representatives of God, or close to God. My understanding is that this is somewhat true. Please allow me to explain.

Angels are very advanced beings who no longer have or need physical bodies. As such, they are much closer to the one that people call God or the Source of all life. In other words, angels are not distracted by all of the fears, anxieties, misperceptions and other problems that come with having to live on a physical planet with a physical body. In this sense, angels are closer to the source of life than we are, and they are much wiser and more loving, as well.

LESSONS FROM THE ANGELS

The following come from stories I have read about angels intervening in people’s lives. Here are a few of the most important lessons from the angels:

1. Unselfishness. As human beings mature through life, they should become less selfish. Babies are selfish, but adults should not be. We should all know that the way to progress spiritually is by giving up the ego needs like a big house, a big car, a big family, many friends and many things or so-called “stuff”.

By truly helping others, you always and must help yourself as well. There is nothing like service to humanity. True happiness is always about radiating the love and light that you are, and giving to others. Life is not about selfishness.

However, we are required to care for our health, our families, and a few other basic needs. Giving away all your money and then having to live in a shelter is not healthful and not required.

Selfishness is more about your motives. Why do you work? Why do you love another person? Why do you have a home? Why do you have a family? If the answer is selfish reasons, this is not good. If the answer is to help others, then you are on the right track.

Selfishness is also needed if you do not have a lot of material things. Then you must conserve your wares, your goods, your services and so on. It is also fine to earn money. Money is basically stored value. Money is needed and money is very good to have. Do not impoverish yourself. It does not make you a better person or less selfish. It often means you are just careless with money.

Money is also needed for helping others, so just use your money wisely, invest it wisely, as the bible teaches. Do not allow others to tell you what to do with your money, and do not give it away to the government. The governments of the world are the most selfish people of all, according to the angels. So do not vote for more taxes for the rich, for example. Keep your money and use it wisely, and allow everyone else to do the same.

2. No good deed goes unnoticed and unrewarded, even if it seems like no one noticed it. The angels and God always notice everything. So it is best to assume you are being watched every moment of every day and night. Let your words and actions speak for themselves. Do not try to hide your real self under a bushel, and do not deceive other people with subtle lies, flirts, envy or covetousness. You cannot deceive the angels, who read your energy like an open book.

3. We are here to learn lessons and develop ourselves. We are not here just to have families or make money, although there is absolutely nothing wrong with these activities. But there is more to life than friends, family, work, play and what people call daily life.

4. Life is a series of experiences that are always strengthening us. This is the truth, even if it does not seem this way at all. Try to enjoy or at least not resent your experiences, even if they are painful, or otherwise difficult.

5. Angels want humanity to know that you are never, ever alone. There is no such thing! You are always surrounded by superior beings who are looking out for you. They will not always save your life, however, if you are in a collision or accident, or if you get sick. They do not always have permission to do so.

6. Angels love humanity more than any possible love on earth. This is the truth. Angels love human beings so much that they allow humans to make mistakes, and even to hurt themselves and others. This is necessary so that human beings learn basic lessons about life, love, selfishness and other things.

Also, angels never get angry the way people get angry because anger is a physical body response. Instead, angels just feel badly for people who are ill, selfish, angry, stubborn and so on. Angels can see it all. Just ask for help if you do not believe this and help will come. As the bible states, “Ask and you shall receive; knock and the door shall be opened”.
