THE BILLY MEIER UFO CASE

The Billy Meier UFO case is probably the most famous UFO case of modern times. Between about 1975 and 1978, a Swiss-German retired man named Eduard Albert Meier was apparently visited by spacecraft and human-like people from another planet, according to Mr. Meier. Mr. Meier developed the nickname ‘Billy’, which he actually prefers to his real name of Edward.

Mr. Meier was allowed to take hundreds of beautiful photos of their aluminum-clad spaceships, 8 mm movies of the ships, and even took a few photos of their occupants. Mr. Meier also says he took about three hundred other photos, but the laboratory that developed the photos kept them, so they are not available to us.

Mr. Meier fell off a rooftop around 1978, and afterwards lost the ability to communicate with his extraterrestrial visitors. His contacts stopped at this point. However, he slowly regained his health and he says the extraterrestrial contact resumed again in 2006, and continue to this day.

THE WRITINGS OF EDWARD MEIER

Mr. Meier has compiled voluminous notes from the extraterrestrial visitors. Many of the messages are up on the internet. He also wrote about 40 books. They range from a book about the Ten Commandments to books about meditation, history of the earth, development of the mind, religions, and other subjects. Most are only available in German, but a few have been translated into other languages.

I do not agree with a lot of the information in these books and messages. This is unfortunate, but it is true. Some of the information is Anti-American, anti-Christian, anti-capitalist, pro-terrorist and more. Please be careful about believing the information at all. This is an important warning, that I must make about this very interesting UFO case.

Pleiadians. The information for the books and messages was given to Mr. Meier by a people called Pleiadians or Plejans. They visited him in advanced spacecraft from the star system called the Pleiades. This star system is about 430 light years from earth in the constellation Taurus. It is easily visible with the naked eye.

The Pleiades is sometimes called “the seven sisters” in astronomy, because it is a group of seven stars. Each one has several planets revolving around it that are inhabited by about three trillion human beings, he says. The people are very tall, thin, and blond-haired, and they live 500-800 years, or more. They look quite healthy and young-looking their entire lives. Their society is about 5000 years ahead of ours in terms of technology. They travel throughout the universe in their space craft, and earth is just one stop on their path.

Their spacecraft, they say, are powered by an electric propulsion system that requires no external fuel. They travel very fast, faster than the speed of light, they say, as this is the only way they could reach the earth in a short period of time. It used to take them about 7 hours to reach the earth from their home world in 1975, but they say their travel time has decreased by a few hours using newer technology and better navigation systems. The Pleiadians had Mr. Meier write down many things, some of which have proven to be prophetic, although others may not be as accurate.

THE MEIER UFO PHOTOS

One must be careful when evaluating any UFO sightings and photos. The hundreds of photos Mr. Meier took from 1975 to 1978 have been investigated by NASA (the National Aeronautics And Space Administration of the United States). This was done by analyzing the heat signatures of the photos. If the photos were faked, they would not have much of a heat signature, but all the photos had significant heat signatures, which cannot be easily faked.

NASA declared that the photos are real and not fakes. The photos would be extremely difficult to fake, as there are hundreds of them, many are taken with clear foregrounds and backgrounds, and supported by 8 millimeter movie pictures of the same ships. Also, Mr. Meier is a poor man who is supported by a government disability pension after he lost his left arm in a bus accident. Many have since investigated the Meier photos and contacts, including a Japanese television crew and many others.

CONSEQUENCES OF THE MEIER UFO CONTACTS

The Meier contacts contain a tremendous amount of information which will need to be evaluated. Some is clearly not correct, while other scientific aspects of the contact material has been proven to be absolutely correct. The material and messages are continuing, and older material will be revised, I am told. This article is just an introduction to this most interesting contact.
