ADVANCED TRAINING AND COACHING IN NUTRITIONAL BALANCING
Updated
September 26, 2011
I am pleased
to offer the advanced nutritional balancing science training and coaching for
doctors and nutrition consultants.
Here are the requirements and procedures.
WHO
GIVES THE TRAINING?
I would love
to train everyone personally, but we have too many students, so training is
with one of my advanced students, whom I will assign to you as a coach. This seems to work the best.
All of my
advanced students, whom I also call ÒcoachesÓ, have done a nutritional
balancing program themselves for several years, and have worked as coaches or
consultants for several years, as well.
They are all screened for their competence, caring, and professionalism.
REQUIREMENTS
FOR THE ADVANCED TRAINING
1.
The doctor or consultant must have a hair analysis laboratory account.
Use
of ARL Labs. If you set up
the account with Analytical Research
Laboratories or ARL in Phoenix, Arizona, USA, (1-602-995-1580 or www.arltma.com) the training is at no
charge. I can offer this because
ARL will pay me a small amount to review hair analyses they perform, as it is
in their interest to do so. I give
most of this money to the coach who assists you, and as a result, the coach can
spend about one-half an hour reviewing each chart at no cost to you.
If you live
in the United States of America, I require the use of ARL for hair testing, as
they do the best job, in my view, and their graphs are much easier to read than
any other laboratory in the world.
The practitioner must order Profile 2 (the Interpretation Profile) or on
retests, Profile 2 or 4 (the retest profile). Also, practitioners should ideally recommend the Endomet
line of products except for kelp and rarely one or two others. The reasons for this are:
1. They work
best, so far. This is the most
important reason. I would not use
them if they were toxic, or less effective.
2. They are
simple and fairly cost-effective in most cases.
3. They
require the fewest tablets or capsules.
4. It is
part of my arrangement with ARL in order to be able to offer the advanced
training at no cost.
Use
of other labs. If you live
outside of the USA and want to use a local laboratory, I will consider it for
reasons of cost and convienience.
In this case, there will be a fee of $35.00 US dollars, to review each
hair mineral analysis. This will
be paid directly to the advanced student who will be assisting you.
I prefer
laboratories that do not wash the hair before performing the mineral
analysis. Laboratories that wash
the hair before performing the analysis may not be acceptable due to lack of
sufficient accuracy.
Use
of other brands of supplements. All
recommendations will be made using the Endomet line of products. These work the best. If a practitioner is in the USA, I want
these to be used. If you are
outside the United States, you may try to match the products if this is
easier. In general, results are
not nearly as good using other lines of products, even costly, all-natural
ones. This is for a number of
reasons, but the main one is that the Endomet products are formulated with very
high quality ingredients, and the formulas in particular, conform to the
concepts of nutritional balancing science better than all others I have found,
so far.
2.
I would like all practitioners to purchase the 2010 edition of Nutritional Balancing and Hair Mineral
Analysis. This is the
best reference text at this time, and contains most of the newer hair analysis
patterns and much supporting information.
You will find it very useful.
3.
Your patients must fill out our two simple information sheets called the
General Information Sheet and the Symptom Sheet. This must be faxed or emailed to your coach, along with the
graph page of the mineral test.
This is necessary for a proper test interpretation. It includes basic information such as
age, sex, height and weight, all current physical and mental symptoms, all
current medications and food supplements, basic medical history, a detailed
description of the diet, and basic lifestyle information regarding exercise and
sleep habits.
At this
time, I cannot accept other intake forms instead of ours. This is because others tend to be
organized differently, and often lengthy, and it uses up too much time
reviewing them.
4.
You, (the doctor or consultant) need to review the hair mineral analysis by
yourself before sending it to the coach, and check off the major patterns that
you see that are present.
In other words, you are to attempt to interpretation the hair analysis
yourself before submitting it to us.
We will provide you with a simple form listing the major hair mineral
patterns.
5.
You (the doctor or consultant) also needs to write down a dietary, supplement,
detoxification and lifestyle recommendations and submit these with the graph
page of the test, the information sheets and the list of pattern that are
present. We will
provide you with a simple form to do this.
6.
The review. After I have
reviewed all of the patientÕs information with your coach, you will call or
email the coach and complete the review of the hair analysis and all of the
recommendations. This will take 20
to 30 minutes, and can be done at a time that you and your coach choose.
It is fine
to review several charts during one session. The more charts you review with your coach, the more you
will learn.
7.
You, the doctor or consultant, needs to follow the coachÕs recommendations
exactly. This is for several reasons:
a. Safety.
We know what we are doing and if the recommendations are changed, the patient
may get worse and we or you may be liable. We want to avoid this.
b.
Effectiveness.
c. Research.
d. Cost and
ease of following the program.
e. We would
like you to offer a consistent healing approach to your clients if you are
offering nutritional balancing science.
If you change the recommendations, it is no longer nutritional balancing
science, which is confusing and fraudulent, in fact.
8.
You, (the doctor or practitioner), must live and work in a totally ethical,
legal and service-oriented manner in both your personal and your professional life
and practice. This is for your
safety, for our reputation and yours, and is just good common sense.
LISTING
ON THE REFERRAL PAGE
An added
benefit to doing the advanced training can be listing on the Practitioner
Referral Page at www.drlwilson.com.
Requirements
for this listing are:
1. Review
ALL of your patientÕs charts with your coach.
2.
Experience with the program. I
will usually wait until you have reviewed at least 100 hair mineral charges
before listing you.
3. You must
do the entire program yourself.
Otherwise, I feel it is hard for your to really encourage others to follow
the program entirely.
4. You must
conduct your business, your life, and any advertising, websites and other
promotional materials in a totally professional manner. This is very important to keep all of
us safe legally and to promote nutritional balancing science in a responsible
manner. For details on this
subject, read the page entitled Practitioner
Rules.
Just doing
the advanced training is a requirement for listing on the Practitioner Referral
Page, but not a guarantee that you will be listed because listing also depends
upon your experience level and competence, and professionalism, as well.
WHY
DO WE USE THIS TYPE OF ADVANCED TRAINING AND NOT OTHERS
I have tried
giving seminars, webinars, writing teaching manuals, and other methods for
teaching this work. While they all
have merit, the simple telephone review seems to work the best. Perhaps this is because it is
one-on-one, and totally personalized, even including the particular advanced
student that I assign to you as your coach.
The training
thus goes at your pace, involves your patients, and can emphasize what you need
to learn and focus on. Hopefully,
it is also with a coach with whom you can relate well.
GOALS
OF THIS TRAINING
1.
To learn this science as fast and as thoroughly as possible. Nutritional balancing science is very
subtle, and it takes a few years, at least, to learn well. It took me four years, doing it full
time, and that was over 30 years ago.
The science has expanded greatly since them. If you believe you understand it in less than 4 of 5 years,
you are likely mistaken. Reviewing
hair mineral tests is the simplest and most effective way I have found to help
practitioners learn it quickly and correctly.
2.
To train practitioners for later work as teachers of this science. Part of the learning is to produce more
advanced students who can teach others.
3.
To be able to quickly update all practitioners about new hair analysis patterns
and newer recommendations for foods, food supplements, and procedures. Nutritional balancing science has
expanded greatly just in the past few years, and continues to do so.
The intimate
telephone or email contact is the best way I have found to share new insights,
changes, and modifications to the diets, supplement recommendations and more.
4.
To control the use of nutritional balancing science. I offer free referrals via a web page
to practitioners who learn with me and my teachers. Reviewing all charts with the doctor or consultant is the only
way to assure that a person who is referred to that practitioner obtains the
best service.
5.
For research purposes. Reviewing many
hair analyses helps everyone involved to discover and explore new patterns o
the test, and new approaches to be even more effective.
RECOMMENDED
READING
1. The 2010,
fourth edition of Nutritional Balancing And Hair Mineral Analysis. It is available through this website (Browse And Order Books) or
from Analytical Research Labs, Amazon.com or other book outlets. This is a detailed reference text about
hair analysis and nutritional balancing science that you will likely find most
helpful. Updates and corrections
are posted on this website here.
2. Website Articles about nutritional
balancing science for both clients and practitioners alike. These articles are continuously updated
and expanded as new research becomes available.
3. Other
texts. Books by George Watson,
Hans Selye, Carl Pfeiffer and others may be helpful.
FEES
This service
is available free of charge to physicians and nutrition coaches who are willing
to use ARL (Analytical Research Laboratories) for their hair analysis, willing
to purchase the ARL Interpretation Profile #2, and willing to use many of the
Endomet nutritional supplements, which give us the best results.
I can offer
the training free of charge because ARL offers me a small commission on the
practitionerÕs hair tests and on their supplement purchases. If one uses a different laboratory,
there will be a consultation fee, and right now I donÕt offer this service at
all, as it is too much trouble to keep track of billing and other matters.
If you are a
new practitioner, or cannot open your own hair mineral testing account at ARL
(which requires a degree in nutrition or a license), or if you would just like
more basic training, click here to read about our basic Diploma Program. With the Diploma you receive from this
excellent home study program, you can open your own hair mineral testing
account at Analytical Research Laboratories, the only laboratory I recommend at
present for hair mineral testing.
HOW
TO GET STARTED
Please call
me at (928) 445-7690 during regular
business hours (Mountain Standard Time in winter and Pacific Time in the
summer).
If I am free
when you call, we can usually begin right away. If the telephone line is busy, please leave your name and
phone number, and I will return your call. However, call again in a day or two if, by chance, I do not
receive your message for some reason.
I may be
able to work with you directly, or I will assign you one of my teachers to
review your hair mineral analyses.
