I recommend changing a few recommendations from the computer-generated supplement programs from Analytical Research labs.
IRON
The ideal iron level should be around 1.4 to 1.8. This is more in line with he other leading laboratories, who are probably doing their own studies to determine their ranges. Here is the ideal range from several other labs:
DoctorÕs Data 0.92 mg%
Meridian Valley 0.95 mg%
Great Plains 1.35
Anamol 0.565 mg%
Trace Elements 1.05 mg%
LEAD
Any level above about 0.09 is elevated. This may not be clear from the bars on the graph.
NICKEL
This is a toxic metal, not an ÒadditionalÒ mineral. Other major labs use a lower cutoff level for ideal. Any reading above 0.05 mg% should be considered elevated. There is really no safe level, as with all the toxic metals.
CHARTS
WITH A POTASSIUM LEVEL BETWEEN 1
AND 4
Give Megapan 2-1-0 or 1-1-1 only. Do not give Hi-B and do not give Megapan 2-2-2. It is too much for these people. Read about sympathetic dominance in a separate article by clicking here.
Also, do not give Endo-dren, which is often recommended. Instead give Thyro-complex 2-2-2 or 3-2-1. This works much better as it is a more balanced product for these individuals.
DIETARY
AIDS
Unless one has diarrhea with it, always use GB-3 as the primary digestive aid. Diarrhea is most common with fast oxidizers, so the computer usually gives them a different product. However, GB-3 is best. This is discussed in a separate article by clicking here.
You may give Enz-aid or better, Betaine Hcl-pepsin as secondary digestive aids or as the primary one if GB-3 is not tolerated well. Eventually, give GB-3, if possible, to everyone.
FOUR
LOW ELECTROLYTE PATTERN
Dr. Paul EckÕs original formula for getting out of this pattern was a simple program of ONLY Paramin at the dose of 3-3-3. In addition, GB3 is excellent for these people. Also, give Endopan 1-1-1 and Zinc 1-1-1 if the sodium/potassium ratio is greater than about 2.5:1.
If it is less than 2.5, give Limcomin 2-2-2. If the Na/K ratio is less than about 1:1, give Limcomin at 3-3-3 or even a little more. Also, add Taurine 2-2-2 to these programs and possibly selenium at a dose of 1-1-1. Do not give a metabolic pak or a glandular product for 4-lows, though the computer often recommends it.
HI-B
VERSUS MEGAPAN
I prefer to give Megapan to everyone initially. If the computer recommends Hi-B, I suggest changing it to Megapan. This has much more nutrients in it and is less stimulating than Hi-B, which is good for most people.
SELENIUM
This is excellent for everyone at a dose of 1-1-1. It is essential if there is mercury toxicity, along with Renamide, which is also excellent, though a little less important. While this product is in Megapan, most people need more of it. If Megapan is given at 2-2-2, Selenium is optional.
A food-based selenium, as offered by Endomet Labs, is best. Garlic can also be substituted for selenium, as it is high in this element and helpful for high blood pressure and other conditions as well.
ALL PROGRAMS
Pills. Keep the number of pills to under about 30 per day if at all possible. Too many tablets are not helpful and just add cost. Also, people can begin with one dose daily and work up to three doses daily if they are concerned about side effects or other reactions.
Saunas. Everyone except young children and perhaps those over about 80 can benefit from sauna therapy. The near infrared lamp sauna is best, with the far infrared type a close second. The traditional sauna with hot rocks is not as helpful. The temperature must be high and it does not penetrate the skin, so it is less therapeutic for these reasons, though it may be very good for relaxation.
Coffee enemas. These are also an excellent adjunctive therapy for many people. They are easiest for slow oxidizers, who may do them daily for a year or more in most cases. Read more about this exciting therapy by clicking here.
