SOME FEAR OF DEATH IS HELPFUL

I. INTRODUCTION

Fear is generally a very harmful, mixed up attitude and bad habit that most people have. To read about it, read Fear.

However, from the perspective of development science, some fear of death is helpful! It can motivate one to follow the development program. It can also motivate a person to live more carefully and wisely.

Most people do not have enough fear of death to follow a development program.  As a result, they do not benefit from the program. This is unfortunate.

Count yourself lucky if you are feeling afraid of dying or of being ill.  It is often your soul trying to convince you to begin or to stay with a development program.  There is nothing wrong with this feeling!  If you can, rejoice and enjoy the feeling.

FEAR OF DEATH IS OFTEN A MESSAGE FROM A SICK BODY

At times, a fear of death is somewhat irrational.  However, often this fear is due to imbalances in the body and the brain.  These send signals to you that all is not well.  This fear of death is helpful and it goes away as you heal the body.

DEATH OF THE EGO - THE ONLY REAL DEATH

At some point during the development program, especially if you do the Pulling Down Procedure a lot, you will suddenly experience a feeling of falling. This is a type of death. II. EXCESSIVE FEAR OF DEATH

The only problem we have with a fear of death is if it makes you so depressed and discouraged that you won’t follow the development program. Please do not feel this.

The development program is mechanical or automatic. This means it will work if you follow it faithfully. But this requires following it as closely as you can. This means do your best not to change the program or to add other foods, supplements or procedures.  The fear of death will slowly fade as you develop and become a mature man or woman.
