The current administration is pushing hard to force people to put their medical records into databases.  From my perspective, this is horrible.  Here are just a few of the reasons why:

1. It is just another way to wreck medical privacy.  Your medical records are no oneÕs business but yours and your doctors.

2. It just invites a new kind of identity theft that is much worse than stealing just your social security number.  The latest huge scam is to steal a personÕs medical records and then charge Medicare and Medicaid for phony visits and procedures.  This has become a billion-dollar scam.

3. Your records can and will be released to dozens of snooping government agencies.  This is horrible because the US federal government, and governments around the world, have no right to this information and they routinely use it against you, if they please.

4. Medical privacy is already compromised by the so-called HIPPA privacy law.  Please read the article about this abomination at HIPPA – The Health Care Privacy Scam.  Electronic medical records just takes this destruction of privacy to a new level.

So please resist this latest attack on your privacy and say NO to electronic medical records.  Stop going along with your corrupt government, please.
