            Definitions of witchcraft:

1. The practice of black magic; sorcery; devination; intercourse with evil spirits; voodoo; also an instance of such practice.

2. Power more than natural; irresistible influence or charm.

            3. A desire to be a spiritual free agent without submission to God or regard for His word.  Relying on technique and not on God.

            4. A type of physics in which women, mainly, are able to move objects, influence people, and harm people using mental powers and various objects, charms, stones, animal parts and other things.

5. Technologies related to black magic and wicca.

The reason is that it is being used against much of the world today.  If one studies it, one has more of a chance to set up systems to block it and diminish its power.

Yes.  The same technologies used by the negative witches can be used for good.  The beneficial use of these technologies is operating in our world to offset some of the negative or dark witchcraft.

The word magic has many definitions.  Magic just means something that is clever, or hard to understand.  Witchcraft is actually not that hard to understand if one studies its principles and techniques.

See the article entitled Magic for much more on this topic.

Magic or witchcraft-like methods are used today in all warfare.  Voodoo dolls are used to try to harm enemy leaders, and both sides often cast spells and put hexes on those they intend to defeat.  Many other methods of witchcraft are also used today in all warfare.

The Hebrew and Christian Bibles are very clear that one should stay away from all forms of witchcraft.  Here are some Bible quotes on the subject:

Deuteronomy 18:14 (NAS) "For those nations, which you will dispossess, listen to those who practice witchcraft and to diviners, but as for you, the Lord your God has not allowed you to do so."

Deuteronomy 18:10-11 (NIV) Let no one be found among you... who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or cast spells, or who is a medium or spiritist.

Isaiah 2:6 (NIV) You have abandoned your people, the house of Jacob. They are full of superstitions from the East; they practice divination like the Philistines and clasp hands with pagans.

Micah 5:12 (NIV) I will destroy your witchcraft, and you will no longer cast spells.

2 Chronicles 33:6 (NIV) He... practiced sorcery, divination and witchcraft, and consulted mediums and spiritists. He did much evil in the eyes of the Lord, provoking Him to anger.

Jeremiah 27:9-10 (NIV) "So do not listen to your prophets, your diviners, your interpreters of dreams, your mediums or your sorcerers... Do not let the prophets and diviners among you deceive you. Do not listen to the dreams you encourage them to have."

Malachi 3:5 (NIV) "So I will come near to you for judgment. I will be quick to testify against sorcerers, adulterers and perjurers..." says the Lord Almighty.

Leviticus 19:26 (NIV) ... "Do not practice divination or sorcery."

The answer is no.  It is merely good science that has been suppressed by a medical profession that is ruled by the drug industry in America and in most other nations.

I read on a Christian website that eating healthy food and using herbs and vitamins is witchcraft.  I believe this statement is going way overboard, and may have been paid for by a drug company.

Healthy food is just food the way it used to be in Biblical times - before it was refined and many chemicals added.  Herbs are recommended in the Bible, so I donŐt see how using herbs can be considered witchcraft.  Vitamins are merely modern extracts from foods and herbs.  In no way is this witchcraft.

If anything, modern drug medicine has aspects of witchcraft in it.  Most of the remedies used are toxic ŇpotionsÓ with strange and meaningless names like Prozac and Lyrica.  The entire science of drugs is full of mysterious words, in fact, often designed to confuse and deceive people into thinking the potions are safe when they are not.
