Cellulite is an unsightly condition that plagues mainly women over the age of about 25 to 30.  It is also called cottage cheese skin or orange peel skin.  The skin of the hips, and perhaps that of the abdomen, has a dimpled and thickened appearance.  There is no good medical treatment for it.

The cause of cellulite is not well understood medically.  It appears to have something to do with hormone imbalances and is a connective tissue disorder.  A high-stress lifestyle also can make the condition worse.  While cellulite is not life-threatening or dangerous it is a condition that women do not like one bit.

NUTRITIONAL BALANCING GETS RID OF CELLULITE

We find that a properly designed nutritional balancing program will often cause cellulite to disappear within a year or so.  This is a relief to many women.

Copper and cellulite.  Our research indicates that cellulite has to do with a copper imbalance.  Copper is required, along with zinc, for connective tissue health.  Excessive copper also damages the liver and may cause the liver to be unable to properly detoxify and excrete estrogen and other hormones.

Yin and cellulite.  Cellulite appears as a yin condition.  This means that the skin and tissues are expanded, watery and cool.  These are all yin indicators.  Nutritional balancing greatly assists the body to become less yin, and this may be one of the factors in its healing with nutritional balancing.

Zinc deficiency and cellulite.  Low tissue zinc may also have to do with cellulite formation.  Zinc is required for connective tissue strength and flexibility.  Most women are low in zinc, especially those who do not eat red meat at least twice per week.  A zinc supplement is part of every nutritional balancing program, as we find that deficiency is so widespread today.

A combined nutritional balancing program is best.  A complete nutritional balancing program seems to be the best for ridding yourself of cellulite.  The procedures such as the use of a near infrared lamp sauna, for example, will drastically improve circulation, which can also assist healing of cellulite.

OTHER HELPFUL MODALITIES FOR CELLULITE

In addition to the above, helpful methods may include:

1. Rebounding, or the use of a mini-trampoline.  This is excellent to improve circulation and to improve specifically the flow of lymph around the body.  I am not sure why, but it may help.

2. Dry skin brushing.  This also helps with circulation, mainly.  It is a little more work, but it may help as well, in difficult cases.
