This short article is a way to understand how to put love into action using the 7 system.
1. CARE FOR AND LOVE THE BODY AND MIND AT ALL TIMES
Love at the most basic level means caring for your body and mind so that you continue to live. This involves what you eat and drink, where you live, whom you associate with, and your lifestyle, in general.
This is an area of self-love in which many people fall short. Yet it is essential for all the other levels of love in action. For example, many people ignore their diet, have a sloppy lifestyle with unclean habits, and do not pay enough attention to the care of their body and brain.
As a result, many do not survive well. They sicken and die young, or have accidents and other unfortunate experience that discourage them and stop development.
2. FEEL AND SEEK OUT THE GOOD AND LEARN EMOTIONAL DETACHMENT
The second energy center has to do with feelings and emotions. This area of life is the one filled with emotions, an area of human life that is very powerful.
Some people have difficulty handling their feelings, or they become sloppy with their emotions and let them run wild. Some people suppress their feelings so much and won’t talk about it that they become severely depressed or ill.
Others give up their principles and their health for momentary pleasures such as alcohol, marijuana or too much or improper sex. Instead, cultivate positive emotions and emotional detachment so that you control your emotions.
3. KEEP THE EGO IN CHECK
This is an area of self-love that is difficult for some people. Many people believe that loving and caring for oneself means that indulging in egotistical thought and behavior is good. Nothing could be further from the truth.
We need to accept and love ourselves FROM where we are rather than AS we are. Loving oneself as one is often just means glorifying the ego self. This is not helpful for maturity and development.
4. LOVE OTHERS, AND LOVE THEM ALL EQUALLY
This is the ideal way to conduct your social life, which is associated with the fourth energy center. This needs to be qualified in that your closest family members need to come first, in most cases. However, even with family members it is best to love them all fairly equally, which we know can be difficult.
This does not mean you must associate with everyone, or even speak with everyone. Instead, it is an energetic attitude or feeling about other people and about the world, in general.
This idea is difficult for many people. Most of us love those who love us. Those who are different, unusual, difficult to get along with, or mean in some way are much harder to love in this way.
5. GIVE SERVICE
Love is happy to serve and assist in many ways. This is what one’s work and creative life should be about. This is difficult for some people to understand, but others grasp the idea intuitively.
It is fine to earn money and become famous, perhaps. However, one’s career and working life should be about service first and always. In fact, to really earn money, giving service is a great key.
Giving service is always unselfish because it is not about what you want to do or be. Service is always about providing what others need, even if you don’t like providing it.
Free market economics (capitalism) teaches this principle better than any other economic system. Some people are taught that free market economics is just about making money. However, if it is structured correctly and honestly, the only way to earn money is to give excellent service to others.
6. ALWAYS SEEK, THINK ABOUT, AND AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE, LIVE THE TRUTH
The sixth center is in the frontal area of the brain, where thinking occurs. Real love is about always seeking and living the truth.
At times, this means practicing “tough love”, which is difficult for some people. Tough love means doing the right thing for yourself and others, rather than doing what is convenient, popular or easy.
At times, the truth can be unusual and upsetting. This is part of the challenge of seeking and living the truth.
7. LIVE IN INTEGRITY
The seventh energy center connects one with higher levels of existence, with the oversoul, or with the Holy Spirit. The Pulling Down Exercise is most helpful for this.
Other helpful steps are to follow a complete development program, and avoid mind-altering drugs and too much sex with orgasm. Down Sex, with precautions to avoid transmitting disease, is good and helps the seventh center.
The seventh level is also a culmination of all of the other centers or ideas in this article. Living and loving correctly at this level may be called living in integrity, which means integrated and consistent.
Opening and growing the seven energy centers is the focus of development programs. One does this with:
- proper nutrition and lifestyle
- controlling the emotions and learning emotional detachment
- minimizing ego pursuits
- healthful relationships
- service to others
- opening the mind to more truth and higher thought
- do the Pulling Down Exercise, follow a complete development program, and avoid mind-altering drugs and excessive sex with orgasm.
